Dong said approximately half of the turbines are connected to the grid, with the remaining units to be connected over the summer.
The first turbine was installed in October 2014, by vessel firm A2Sea. Installation suffered a minor delay after Siemens admitted manufacturing problems for its 4MW.
When the delay was announced in August 2014, Siemens said: "During the ramp up of serial production of this turbine, we experienced some limited delays in the manufacturing process.
"As a consequence, the start of the installation phase of the turbines at the project site will be delayed by a few weeks." Both Siemens and Dong said the commissioning date was unaffected.
The project is located 44 kilometres off the German coast in the North Sea.
