The facility covers a 19,000 square meter area and took 18 months to complete. Located on the west coast of France, it can manufacture 100 turbines a year.
Approximately 300 people will be employed at the plant. Alstom has also released a timelapse of the plant under construction.
The first five turbines are set to be used at Deepwater Wind's 30MW Block Island project in the US.
Developer EDF-EN has also contracted Alstom to supply the Haliade to three of its offshore projects being planned in France.
In January, awarded the Haliade a key certificate needed for commercial deployment.
