Nordex wins 100MW deal in Pakistan

PAKISTAN: Nordex has been handed orders for a combined 100MW for two projects in Pakistan from Yunus Energy and Metro Power Company

The project will use Nordex's N100 turbine

The contract is for N100/2500 low wind turbines to go to two wind projects in Sindh province. The projects will be commissioned in summer 2016.

It includes a 10-year service agreement. According to Nordex, the machines have been configured for the temperatures of up to 45 degrees.

According to “uåX˜äŠÊ˜·³Ç's data division, “uåX˜äŠÊ˜·³Ç Intelligence, Nordex has a pipeline of around 300MW in Pakistan.

In 2011, Nordex signed a 250MW master supply deal with Fauji Foundation, Gul Ahmed Energy, Metro Power Company and Yunus Energy covering projects in Sindh.
