At the same time, further details have emerged about the 36 companies selected to build plant of 20-50MW in the first round of a tender for independent power producers under the new feed-in tariff (FIT).
Selected companies include Orascom, Elsewedy, ACWA Power, GDF Suez, Acciona, Enel, Terna Energy, Sino Hydro, China International Water and Electric Corporation and Tata Power.
