The vessel operator and offshore contractor will deploy its Rix Lion boat to the 194MW Lynn and Inner Dowsing offshore wind project off England's east coast in order to carry out gearbox oil changes.
Another Rix vessel, the Cheetah, will take engineers to and from turbines at the Walney 2 wind farm off the coast of Barrow-in-Furness in north-west England as part of a three-month extendable contract with Siemens.
Separately, the Rix Panther and the Rix Tiger are supporting two cable-laying ships at RWE Innogy’s Gwynt y Mor development off the North Wales coast for Reef Subsea.
