The UK's Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) was alerted on Monday evening and launched vessel to attend a man on board the GeoSea-owned Neptune vessel working at the Ormonde project 9.6 kilometers off the UK's northwest coast.
A Vattenfall spokesperson said the crew member was concussed after falling.
The RNLI transported the casualty to Barrow docks where he was then taken by air ambulance to Royal Preston Hospital. The spokesperson said he is fully conscious and is being monitored by hospital staff.
The incident took place just 24 hours after a worker was rescued from Wpd's 288MW Butendiek project in the North Sea. The man was airlifted to a German hospital in a critical condition.
A Wpd spokesperson has told “uåX˜äŠÊ˜·³Ç the casualty is in a stable condition today.
