The Spanish manufacturer will install 72 of its G97-2MW turbines on six of Eolicas do Sul's projects in the Chui complex in the southern state of Rio Grande do Sul.
The turbines are scheduled for delivery in the third quarter of 2014, with commissioning due in early 2015. Gamesa will also provide operations and maintenance services for a period of 15 years.
To meet Brazil's local sourcing rules, the turbines will be manufactured at Gamesa's Camaçari factory in the west of the country.
Eolicas do Sul is a subsidiary of the Río Bravo Investimentos y Eletrosul investment fund, in turn a subsidiary of Brazil's national power company, Eletrobras.
This is the second agreement between Gamesa and Eolicas do Sul. The first was struck in 2012 for the supply of 258MW to ten wind farms in Brazil.
The Latin American market accounted for 49% of Gamesa's revenue in 2013 as it looks to move into new countries to compensate for the collapse of its Spanish home market.
