The video shows the turbine's installation last year. The post includes time-lapse footage of the blades being lifted into position and a view from inside the nacelle as an 83.5-metre blade is installed.

Construction of the turbine was completed in October. The nacelle was installed on 18 October, followed by the attachment of the three SSP-manufactured blades, which have a rotor diameter of 171 metres, on 21 October.

Tests of the machine were due to start by the end of last year, but this was pushed back because one of the blades was damaged and had to be replaced.

The South Korean firm has invested £70 million (EUR 82 million) in the project and will have a 19-strong team to work on the testing programme over the next five years.

The video and pictures were taken by Tony Gorzkowski from White House studios in Edinburgh.

Update: Since this story was posted, the video has been removed.
