Tornator said the projects will be built on its land while O2 will be responsible for financing and project management of the development. Tornator owns around 600 hectares.
So far most of O2's projects have been in western Finland. The company has worked with companies such as Ikea and Google to develop projects in Scandinavia.
In June 2013, Google signed a ten-year agreement with O2 to buy the power from the 72MW Maevaara wind farm to be built in northern Sweden.
