This figure is 165% higher than the previous year, and gave the manufacturer a market share of 8.4% in what the company described as an "expanding market".
Nordex has had big success with its low-wind turbine, the N117/2400, which is a market leader and accounted for 75% of its German installations in 2013.

The company's global installation volume jumped 36% last year, with the N117/2400 accounting for one out of five turbines installed worldwide.
Nordex CEO Jürgen Zeschky said he expects installation numbers to rise again in Germany in 2014.
"We have been anticipating this trend for quite some time now as uncertainty surrounding future tariff structures in Germany is triggering pull-forward effects," says Zeschky.
