Faubel's replacement is Yves Rannou, who has been with Alstom for 15 years and is currently managing director of Alstom Hydro China. He will start on 1 April and report to Alstom Renewable Power president Jérôme Pécresse.
Faubel will become senior vice president of sales and marketing in the company's global power sales division, working across Alstom's renewables and thermal power divisions.
He has been with the company since 2009, when he joined Alstom Wind from Delphi, where he was divisional vice president.
Rannou, who has spent the bulk of his career at Alstom working in hydro, also holds a master of science in mechanical and electrical engineering. He joins as the company is in the latter stages of testing its 6MW turbine, which is targeting the French and UK markets.
