The Danish consultancy company will look at the offshore wind plants in Smålandsfarvandet 100 kilometres southwest of Copenhagen, Sejerø Bugt, northwest Zealand and Sæby, northeast Jutland, and the onshore connections to the national grid.
Two sub-consultants, DHI and advisory company PlanEnergi, are also part of the project, which is due to be finished in 2015.
Mikkel Kristensen, Ramboll Oil & Gas’s environment director, who is heading the project, said: "When we won the Anholt offshore wind farm EIA in 2009 and Mejl Flak offshore wind farm EIA in 2011 it was our ambition to position Ramboll for larger projects within wind farm EIAs.
"With this new contract we have succeeded in fulfilling this ambition and have taken a large step into this very exciting market."
