Repower UK managing director promoted to VP

UK: Turbine manufacturer Repower has appointed Rick Eggleston as vice president, service.

Eggleston had previously been UK managing director at the German firm. Raymond Gilfedder will replace him in this role, moving up from his position as UK head of sales.

Eggleston has already started in his new role, having taken up the position on 16 September.

He will report to Russell Stoddard, a fellow Brit who was promoted to chief technology officer in August.

"I am very excited to be taking up the role of vice president, service," said Eggleston.

"In particular I think that taking my experience from a subsidiary into the central organisation will add a new perspective."
