The German manufacturer first installed, developed and brought the plant into operation, which consists of four N100/2500 turbines.
Stadtwerke München also bought the 10MW Filieres wind plant in Lorraine, France, from Nordex in 2010.
Florian Bieberbach, Stadtwerke München CEO, said: "This is the second project that we have bought from Nordex in France. We have found an experienced partner in Nordex and we hope that there will be more joint projects to follow.
"We have to think on the European scale and tap the full potential outside of Munich, and Germany as well, like now in France. Here are very good wind sites and an appropriate support scheme."
It is Nordex's first project sale in France since last year, when German insurance giant Allianz acquired two wind farms totalling 22MW in generating capacity.
Prior to this, Nordex sold its first French wind farm to Allianz in April 2009, the 12.5MW Les Cent Jalois in the Aisne region in northern France.
