Italian, Marco Graziano, 56, starts at the Danish manufacturer on 15 October. He leaves from French conglomerate Alstom as senior vice president South East Asia Pacific.
Graziano takes over from former Vestas Mediterranean president, Juan Araluce who became the company's chief sales officer last year after five years in the role.
Vestas Mediterranean is headquartered in Spain, and handles projects in Greece, Italy, Turkey, Portugal and France.
