Vestas wins 99MW V112 deal

SWEDEN: Vestas has won a 99MW contract from developer Rabbalshede Kraft for two projects in southern Sweden.

The deal is for Vestas V112 3MW turbine

Vestas will supply 33 V112 3MW turbines to the Arjäng project in Värmland, and the Skaveröd project in Uddevalla. The contract includes an eight-year service agreement, with installation set for 2014.

Arjäng and Skaveröd have a 33MW and 66MW capacity respectively.

This is the second V112 order for Sweden this month. Last week, paper manufacturer Holmen signed a deal with Vestas to supply 17 V112s for a project north of Stockholm.
