The Matisse wind farm will use 13 V112 3MW turbines, which will be delivered to at the beginning of 2013. The aim is to bring the project online by the end of Q1. The contract also includes a 15-year service agreement.
It is Whysol's second project in Italy. It owns the 24MW Deliceto/ Ascoli Satriano project in the province of Foggia.
In September, FRI-EL signed a deal with Vestas for eight V112 3MW turbines to go to its Gorgoglione project in the Basilicata region.
Vestas wins 39MW V112 deal
ITALY: Vestas has won a 39MW order from Italian developer Whysol Investments for a project in Apulia, southern Italy.
