Gamesa wins 48MW deal from Huadian

CHINA: Gamesa has been handed a 48MW deal from Huadian for a project in Fujian province.

The order is for 24 G87 2MW Class S turbines, which are designed for Class I wind speed locations.
Delivery is set for the end of August.

Gamesa and Huadian have been working together since 2005. Last year, Gamesa this morning signed an agreement to supply 100 of its G90-2.0MW turbines to Huadian for projects in China's northern Inner Mongolia province.

The signing of this contract, which covers 200MW of installations between 2011 and 2012, coincided with a visit to Spain by Liu Qi, deputy director of China’s energy regulator NEA (National Energy Administration).
