The orders come from Dutch utilities Delta NV and Eneco, as well as developers Winvast and Scheldewind BV. The 29 N100/2500s will be installed from April 2013.
As part of the deal, Nordex will build a service station to manage the turbines. A 15-year maintenance contract has also been included in the deal.
Lars Bondo Krogsgaard, chief customer officer at Nordex said: "This project is a good example of how wind power capacity can be raised without any appreciable increase in the number of turbines. This is a guiding model for other developed European markets to follow and offers great potential for the future."
Previously, Kreekraksluis used 26 NedWind 500kW machines, which were installed in 1995. The project used to be wholly-owned by Delta. It was last in the news in 2006 when a blade tip hit the tower after the turbine's main axle broke in fair weather.
