GDF acquires 105MW Polish project

POLAND: GDF Suez has bought a 105MW wind project in Klukowo, Poland, from local company Polish Energy Partners (PEP).

The latest deal is worth PLN81.8 million (€18.6 million). The project is to be completed in late 2013, and is at an early stage of development.

Most recently, the Polish company has launched a new wind farm in Lukaszow, Poland. The facility was fitted with 17 wind turbines with a total capacity of 34MW.

GDF Suez's owns the 22MW Jarogniew/Moltowo wind project in Poland. It bought the remaining 30% of the project from Polish Energy Partners in October 2009.
