ONE called for expressions of interest to be in by 2 March, after which it plans to issue the main tender to prequalified bidders in the second quarter.
The projects are to be built on a build, own, operate and transfer basis as public-private partnerships with ONE, the Energy Investment Company and the Hassan II Fund for Economic & Social Development, all state-owned.
The projects fall under the country's integrated wind-power programme, launched June 2010, which targets 1GW split between five sites: Tangiers (150MW), Koudia al Badia (300MW), Taza (150MW), Laayoune (300MW) and Boujdour (100MW). The plant are scheduled to come on line between 2014 and 2020.
At the same time, ONE launched a tender for the procurement and maintenance of a 200MW plant.
