Vestas to supply 99MW for E.on Texas project

UNITED STATES: Vestas has been handed a 99MW deal by E.on for a project in Texas.

Vestas' V100 turbine will be used on the project

The contract is for 55 V100 1.8MW low wind-speed turbines to go to the Anacacho project, in Kinney Country, south-east Texas.

Delivery is scheduled for mid-2012 with commissioning expected in late 2012.

Last year, Vestas announced it had signed a 202MW deal with E.on for 112 V100 1.8MW turbines.

It was unable to state the turbine’s destination although it said that delivery was set for mid-2012.
