The firm has won a service-contract extension for seven years from Enbridge for the 190MW Enbridge Ontario Wind Project near Kincardine, Ontario.
 
Installed in September 2006 and Canada’s second-largest wind-power plant, the site includes 115 V82-1.65MW wind turbines.
 
Under the agreement Vestas will provide services including scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, replacement of major components and spare parts and a surveillance system called VestasOnline, which allows Vestas to monitor and remotely control the turbines.
