Gamesa wins 80MW Spanish order from Aldesa

SPAIN: Gamesa has received an order from construction company and wind developer Aldesa for 80MW for two wind farms in southern Spain.

The project will use G97 turbines

Gamesa will supply 25 G97 2MW turbines for the La Tella project in Murcia and 15 G90 2MW turbines for the Palomarjero wind farm in Andalucía.

Construction on both projects will begin by the end of 2011.

Aldesa is one of Spain’s largest construction companies. Its subsidiary, Aldesa Energias Renovables has developed around 110MW of wind projects.

The company has a project pipeline of 140MW lined up for the next three years.
