The agreement, which replaces one signed between the two firms in April 2010, covers the supply of Vestas' V90, V100 and V112 turbine models over a period of three years.
It also provides Eolus an option to acquire additional wind turbines with a capacity of 40MW during this period.
Today's announcement follows confirmation by Vestas on Friday that it had signed a deal to supply 60MW of turbines to two projects in Brazil. The deal, with developer Atlantic Energias Renovaveis, covers the supply, installation and commissioning of 30 V100-2.0 MW turbines.
This was hot on the heels of Vestas and EDF announcing a 2GW partnership covering projects across Europe and the US.
