Lesser is to replace current COO Bernd Paulsen, who joined PNE from Vestas in 2008 on a fixed term contract that ends on March 31. Lesser will start the new role on May 1.
The appointment was among a number of other changes to PNE’s board of directors.
Jorg Klowat, who was formerly head of PNE’s finance and accounting division, has been promoted to director of finance.
PNE CEO Martin Billhardt will remain responsible for company and project financing, sales, corporate strategy, national and international company strategy.
