Spinnaker has paid an undisclosed sum for the assets, which include 600MW of wind farms in south Texas and a 106.8MW hybrid solar thermal and biomass energy project in California.
The projects were developed as part of a joint venture between Martifer Group, Spinnaker and Clean Energy Ventures.
The first 172MW of the Texan wind farms are expected to begin operating in 2012.
