Enercon to supply 57.5MW to Brazil wind farm

BRAZIL: Enercon will supply wind turbines for a 57.5MW project in Brazil owned by Spanish developer Enerfin. The project will be in Brazil’s southernmost state of Rio Grande do Sul and will consist of 25 Wobben Enercon 2.3MW turbines. Safety seal man

The project will be in Brazil’s southernmost state of Rio Grande do Sul and will consist of 25 Enercon 2.3MW turbines.

Safety seal manufacturer Roxtec has also won a deal to supply cable seals to the project.

Developers and wind manufacturers are looking at building projects within Rio Grande do Sul.

Last week, Suzlon said it was considering building a wind turbine blade factory in the state. The company said the facility dependent on it receives orders of sufficient capacity.
