The license has been awarded to local company Balkanenergy Wind for the development of a wind park some 2.9 km east of Livno, in the west of the country.
The development would cover an area of 6,671 km2. 30 Enercon E-82 wind turbines with a unit power of 2 MW would be installed on the land. The project also includes the construction of a 110/35/10 kV transformer station.
Croatian consultancy company Vran-Dukic completed the Feasibility study on the economic and financial aspects of the project and was also responsible for identifying the macro location.
Also in Livno, state-owned power company Elektroprivreda HZ HB has started work on the Mesihovina Wind Park, made up of 22 wind turbines with unit power of 2-3 MW. The project will have a capacity of 44-66 MW.
