The deal consists of 25 V90-2MW wind turbines, which will be installed at Daqinghe Yanchang wind farm in Laoting County, in northern China’s Hebei Province.
This is the third time HCINEC has purchased Vestas’ turbines. In total, it has now acquired 150MW from the Danish company.
The contract includes delivery, installation and commissioning of the wind turbines, and a service and maintenance agreement. The turbines are scheduled to be delivered in the third quarter of 2011.
In 2010 alone, Vestas sold more than 230 units of the V90-1.8/2.0MW wind turbines to the Chinese market, which is a record for Vestas in China.
