Vestas receives 49.3MW Chinese order

CHINA: Vestas has received an order for 49.3MW from Chongli Construction Investment Huashi Wind Power Company for a north China wind farm.

The deal is for the Jiaochekou wind farm in Chongli County, Hebei Province. The order consists of V52-850kW and V60-850kW wind turbines, which are scheduled to be delivered in the third quarter of 2011.

The deal also includes a service and maintenance agreement.

In December, Vestas won a 49.4MW order from Chinese developer Master Investment Company . In 2010, Vestas announced almost 1GW worth of orders in China.
