UK: The past 12 months have seen UK offshore capacity pass the 1GW mark. A further 2.2GW is in construction and just under 2GW more has received consent. The 33GW envisaged under Round 3 seems a long way off. But to keep the market moving, the Crown Estate has announced extensions to five Round 1&2 schemes, and awarded additional capacity to two further projects.
