LuciaWind operates a 42MW wind farm in Andalucia, Spain. EBM is investing €70million in the development, which operates 14 3MW turbines.
According to Aravis Energy's managing partner Oliver Thalman, Swiss firms are showing an increasing interest in investing in renewables.
Speaking about the deal EBM CEO Hans Büttiker said: "In light of the liberalisation of the electricity markets we are using the opportunities currently available to secure new sources for the long-term supply of energy to our networks and at the same time to meet our customers' growing demand for environmentally friendly energies."
