Meanwhile, Goldwind has also kicked off the construction of an offshore wind power equipment production base in Dafeng in east China's Jiangsu Province.
It will be the largest and most developed in the country to produce equipment for offshore wind farms, the company says. The CNY 105 million ($15.37 million) facility is expected to start production in October.
It will have an annual output of 300 MW. The base will play a significant role in Goldwind's overseas strategy, as turbines can be easily shipped from Dafeng, a port city.
