The Danish-made machines will be installed in the southern Italian region of Molise in the second half of 2010. The 58 MW wind farm is located in the municipality of San Martino in Pensilis.

New Green Molise, a 50:50 wind development joint venture between Italian renewable energy developer Alerion and fellow Italian New Green Energy, has ordered 29 Vestas 2 MW turbines.
