Vergnet, a small company specialising in small to medium scale turbines, has installed a 20 kW unit at Saran on the north western outskirts of Orléans. It is the first machine in France to be connected to the low-voltage grid and is mounted on a 24 metre tilt-down tower specifically designed to reduce the footprint of the machine.
