First 45 MW of six phase wind plant in Inner Mongolia
Construction work on the 45 MW wind farm being developed by Shandong Luneng Group at Bayin Hanggai in Inner Mongolia has started. The project is the first phase of a planned six-stage development which will eventually take total capacity to 300 MW. Chinese turbine manufacturer Windey Wind Generating Engineering is supplying 60, 750 kW machines for the initial stage, with the first batch of units due to be delivered in May.
