New World Power Corp opened a San Francisco office in August. The Connecticut-based renewables firm and wind developer is also hiring Daniel Shugar as Vice President of the Wireless Division. Shugar was formerly with Advanced Photovoltaic Systems and previously managed solar projects at Pacific Gas and Electric Co, a northern California utility.
