You incorrectly refer to "Louisville Gas and Electricity" as having an ownership stake in a 30 MW wind farm project of Kenetech turbines in Tarifa, southern Spain ( "Sold Off," “uåX˜äŠÊ˜·³Ç, April). This is not true.

The ownership is held by LG&E International, a subsidiary of LG&E Power Inc. LG&E Power and LG&E International both share the same parent company: LG&E Energy Corp. This is a utility holding company and energy services company.

Louisville Gas and Electric Company The utility is not and will not engage in IPP [independent power] projects. There are no documents in Spain nor the USA referencing Louisville Gas & Electric with regard to the Tarifa project. Also note that LG&E does not stand legally for "Louisville Gas & Electric." It is a legal name, no more.
