Three small vertical axis turbines to Bahaman Island
The turbine manufacturing unit of a Nevada energy development company, Gold Rock Holdings, says it will sell three small vertical axis turbines for $1.5 million to Caribbean-based Octagon Resources. The sale is to Bahamian company Octagon Resources and its joint venture partner Montana Holdings as part of a hotel, casino, marina and resort housing project. The turbines will deliver some 300 kW a day for the entire Rum Cay Island. Delivery is scheduled for the third quarter 2006 and is the company's first sale into the Caribbean area.
