As more renewable energy companies are choosing to float on the Alternative Investment Market (AIM) of the London Stock Exchange (LSE), the LSE is to hold an information day to put renewable energy companies in touch with investors and analysts. The Renewable Energy Capital Markets Day, to be held on October 13, will allow companies to seek new investors and broaden their shareholder base, says LSE. It points out that the AIM is the world's leading exchange for new renewable energy companies and investor interest in renewables has never been higher.
