TWO BOOKLETS PUBLISHED ON SMALL SCALE WIND ENERGY
Two new booklets giving guidance on small scale use of wind energy have been published by the Centre for Alternative Technology (CAT) in Wales. "It's A Breeze" by Hugh Piggot is subtitled "a guide to choosing wind power" and contains information on designing and living with a wind energy system as well as information on available technology and where to get advice. "Off the Grid" by Paul Allen and Bob Todd is subtitled "managing independent renewable electricity systems" and deals with power supply for "homes, boats, caravans and more" using wind, water and sun as the energy source. Both booklets provide a detailed hands-on guide to do-it-yourself power supply.
