GE Energy names new head of wind operations
GE Energy has named Robert Gleitz to replace Steve Zwolinski as head of its wind operations. Zwolinski is leaving the company after 23 years (“uåX˜äŠÊ˜·³Ç, March 2005). Gleitz will hold the title general manager of the wind business, which is part of GE's larger power generation group. A graduate of Institut National des Sciences Appliquees de Lyon (INSA) in France, he holds a diploma in science and energy engineering. He began his career at GE in 1999 and has served as director of GE Energy's European projects group and as commercial director supporting sales and commercial operations for GE. More recently, Gleitz served as managing director of GE Energy Products Europe, based in Belfort, France.
