Finland's manufacturers of parts and components for wind turbines have formed their own branch within Metalli Teollisuuden Liitto, the Finnish Metal Workers Union. The initiative, led by ABB Power Oy, is intended to help promote the fledgling wind industry in Finland and open new channels for research and development.
