New CEO for Australian wind association

Following the departure of Libby Anthony, the Australian Wind Energy Association (AusWEA) has announced that Dominique la Fontaine, currently executive officer of local government association Timber Towns Victoria, is to take up the vacant position of chief executive officer for the association. "I am confident that Dominique will take AusWEA to new levels of professionalism," says AusWEA's president Ian Lloyd-Besson. "Dominique has considerable experience in managing membership based associations and has been successful in significantly growing them by determining strategic priorities and implementing political campaigns that respond proactively to members' concerns."
