Danish wind turbine manufacturer NEG Micon is thought to be about to set up manufacturing in the Midwest state of Illinois. The company, one of the largest in the industry, may also close down its wind turbine manufacturing plant in Marshall, Minnesota, according to sources. A senior official at the company declines to comment. "There are a lot of rumours out there," says the company's Leif Johansen, reached at his home in Illinois.
