STANLEY CHARREN RETIRES

Kenetech Corp's board chairman, Stanley Charren, retired in mid March, having served on the board since 1979. The company is naming Lawrence Wagner to the board, increasing the number of directors from seven to eight. Wagner has been president of Hillman Co since 1993.
