Nordic “uåX˜äŠÊ˜·³Ç's managing director Bruno Bergqvist reports that the company's 1 MW turbine prototype on Gotland has been performing well. But he is concerned that one of the company's partners, Hägglunds, has pulled out of the project, and he has not managed to find a replacement. He concludes that Swedish industry is opposed to wind power -- not on technical or economic grounds, but for political and ideological reasons.
