Government concession for 150 MW

A subsidiary of Hebei Construction Investment Corporation (HBCI) has scored the 150 MW Weichang Yudaokou wind farm project in the fifth round of annual tendering for wind concessions sponsored by the Chinese government. HBCI New Energy Company's bid, including a price for the electricity generated of CNY 0.551/kWh ($0.078/kWh), beat ten rival companies. The farm will be built in Chengde, a town to the northeast of Beijing. Costing CNY 1.39 billion ($199 million), the project will use 1.5 MW units from Sinovel.
