New World Power Corporation is negotiating with Northern States Power for a contract for a 20-turbine wind farm using German Enercon E-40 wind turbines in Pipestone County, Minnesota, says the company's Dan Juhl. New World has planning permission from Pipestone County, he says. The 10 MW wind farm would be in Burke Township on Buffalo Ridge. The $10 million project would hopefully only be the first part of a much larger one, he says.
